Pamela Anderson was born on July 1, 1967, in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada. She started her career as a fitness instructor before becoming a model in the mid-1980s. Anderson gained international fame in 1990 when she appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine. In 1992, she joined the cast of "Baywatch" as C.J. Parker, a role that made her a household name. Anderson has also appeared in numerous films, including "Barb Wire," "Borat," and "Scary Movie 3." In 2010, she competed on "Dancing with the Stars" and was the third celebrity eliminated. Anderson has been an active animal rights activist, and has campaigned for organizations such as PETA and Sea Shepherd. She has also been involved in charity work, including supporting organizations that help victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence. In 2014, Anderson was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in recognition of her contributions to entertainment. Anderson has been married four times, and has two children.
